![]() I lost the few satellites that I had programmed, but now that I know what I am doing, it was easy to re-add the NASA TP. I just installed the latest image listed above. Instructions for installing the software are here: The Vu+ Community site has a link to the latest Black Hole software image (seems to be the best source for support): There is newer Linux code that I have downloaded but am yet to install. I did plug in a USB 3.0 portable disk last night, and so far, so good. Note that this supports USB 3.0 and gigabit Ethernet. Note that I haven't found one receiver that doesn't have problems with the PVR function once a disk is plugged in, I am hoping that this one will be different. Maybe my being a guinea pig will provide the confidence for him to start carrying it. If Rick sold it, I would have bought it from him (I had sent some private emails on the subject). Here is a picture of my UHD TV's screen taken with an iPhone: ![]() I was able to scan AMC-18C TP 3760 in order to get the NASA channels, including NASA UHD (using the data from my Linkbox 9000i). There is a blind scan plug-in, but it apparently doesn't work correctly. It came with a European pin-style plug, fortunately the external power supply is universal and took the power cable from my Sony Camcorder.īased on instructions in that forum, I was able to download a new satellites.xml file that I was able to FTP to the Solo 4K. I am creating this topic to provide information on how to setup / use the Vu+ Solo 4K here in North America.
